AI Productivity Tools

Please forgive how incomplete this resource page is. I want to get information to you as quickly as possible. AI is moving fast; so must we! I will be building this out daily over the coming weeks and months. Perplexity, listed below, though is a GREAT resource for you. Try using it to curate an Open Educational Resources textbook or learning unit! It cites its sources really well so you can really dive in.

We know the burden teachers carry about ensuring academic integrity. AI can help you lift this load. Our website has a dedicated section for AI educational tools for teachers. We understand the importance of AI in education and how it can help teachers improve their teaching methods and personalize instruction for their students. Our section includes a list of the best AI tools for teachers, such as automated grading software, adaptive learning platforms, chatbots, language learning apps, and more. We also provide information on how these tools work and how they can benefit teachers and students. Whether you are a new or experienced teacher, our AI educational tools section can help you find the right tools to enhance your teaching and improve student outcomes.

Perplexity AI

Perplexity AI is an AI chat tool that acts as a powerful search engine to deliver accurate answers to complex questions. It uses large language models and search engines to scour the internet and provide sources of information. According to1, to use Perplexity AI, you can simply type in your request in the search bar and click the blue arrow. The tool will then display its answer and the sources of information. Perplexity AI can be used to answer FAQs, research topics, and find information on a wide range of subjects. It is a useful tool for educators who need to find accurate information quickly and efficiently.

Future Tools

"FutureTools Collects & Organizes All The Best AI Tools So YOU Too Can Become Superhuman!"

I mean, c'mon! There are soooo many AI tools that I didn't know about. This website is a repository of AI tools that you can sort based upon your need. Of course, not all of these tools are free. Most of them actually charge small amounts for very specific tasks. But there are a lot of free tools available too!

A couple of tools that I'm excited about is Be My Eyes and Socratic. Be My Eyes hasn't launched yet. But it will be using AI to look at an image and describe it verbally. With Be My Eyes, we can all make our classes more ADA Accessible with a quick click from a camera. Google's Socratic App, will have you amazed with how powerful image interpretation is now. Socratic can read graphs, math, text...you name it. And after you take a picture of a homework question, it will provide you with instruction resources to help you get "Unstuck and Learn Better."

If you find a tool that you use to support your classroom, please let me know about it! Click the Submit Your Assessment Ideas button and fill out that form. I'll include your resource here.
